Definitions:
References to “we”,”our”,”us” means Diorama Room, LLC. Tune in to Green and “series” means the Tune in to Green short film series and/or the Tune in to Green Vimeo-on-Demand page, https://vimeo.com/ondemand/tuneintogreen. “Film” can mean video or film transferred to video. “You” and “your” means the person submitting the film.
Submission and Viewing Fees
There is no fee to submit a film. However, to help cover operating costs of the series, there will be a 72-hour streaming rental price of USD $7 + sales tax through Vimeo.com/ondemand/tuneintogreen. If viewers are paying in a currency other than USD, the equivalent to the above pricing will be displayed in their local currency including VAT or GST, where those taxes are collected. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept currency from every country through Vimeo, so please keep this in mind when deciding whether or not you want to submit a film. Availability to the Public
Again, the date that each exhibition is available to the public for streaming depends on when we receive enough suitable submissions. Once a decision has been made for the release date, an announcement will be posted on our website and social media platforms.
The target date for the first showing is November 19th, 2020.
Safety of Content
When using our film submission and contact forms, or when using our website you agree that:
- You will not send unauthorized commercial communications (spam).
- You will not upload viruses or other malicious code.
- You will not do anything that could be seen as an attack on this website, our Vimeo-on-demand page, or our festival.
- You will not submit films that contain hate speech, threats, pornography, incites violence, contains nudity, violence, drugs, or alcohol.
- You will not send messages that bully, intimidate, or harass the Diorama Room, LLC / Tune in to Green
Protection of Rights
You will not scrape, capture, record or otherwise take material from our website because we never authorize the theft of the intellectual property therein. This includes to repost screenshots or video captures on a blog or any other social media. However, you may share the links, that when clicked, send viewers directly to our websites https://dioramaroom.com & https://vimeo.com/ondemand/tuneintogreen. The images that auto-load from our URLs are the ones we have chosen to represent the festival, therefore when this image appears after pasting in one of our URLs, this is not deemed as intellectual property theft.
When using our site, applicants have agreed to abide by the rights of others by the following:
- only submitting to Tune in to Green with their own work and that the submitted work that does not include copywritten material by external parties.
- crediting all collaborators in the submission form and on the film’s credits screen.
- obtaining a release from any talent and private property owner, whose clearance is required, before submitting the film.
- refraining from submitting films that contain hate speech, threats, pornography, incites violence, contains nudity, violence, drugs, or alcohol.
If you feel that your copyright has been infringed upon, please email us at info@dioramaroom.com with any information describing why you are requesting we take down content from our site. Please include your name, address, and telephone number.
If we find via notification from an outside party, who has provided substantial proof, that any of the above actions are violated, we will remove the material from our website.
However, we do not control or direct users’ actions and therefore, are not responsible for the materials they submit. Applicants have also agreed to the following terms before they are able to send in their work: “By submitting a video to the Tune in to Green, the filmmaker(s) agree(s) to hold the series and its operating company, Diorama Room, LLC, harmless from any and all claims of liability resulting from entry. The filmmaker(s) will indemnify the series and its operating company against any and all claims, demands, damages, expenses (including legal fees), proceedings, and/or losses, brought on by the filmmaker or a third party, resulting from the screening of your submitted film on our Vimeo-on-Demand page, or using still images or clips from the submitted film, for promotional purposes on our website.”
Provisions to Users Outside of the United States
- You agree to have your personal data transferred to and processed in the United States.
- If you are located in a country embargoed by the United States, or are on the U.S. Treasury Department’s list of Specially Designated Nationals, you will not partake in any activities from Diorama Room, LLC or the Tune in to Green short film series that involve monetary compensation. You will not participate in our series as an applicant or viewer if you are prohibited by law from receiving products, services, or software originating from the United States.
